The fundamental requirement of all communication facilities is to ensure that the technological investment is able to achieve optimum design performance and reliability. Our Technical Services Team is expert in the installation, optimization and maintenance of telecommunications systems.

Our degree qualified engineers and telecommunications technicians are experienced with installing and maintaining a diverse range of technologies for Telstra, Vodafone, and Hutchison working on technologies including the following:

+ Site auditing, routine maintenance and emergency call out services

The Technical Services Group operates throughout Australia and is able to deliver complex multi-site turnkey solutions or minor radio upgrade

 

Recent Projects Include;

Project Vodafone 3G (Vic / QLD)

Client: AAPC’s

Installation and upgrade of new SDH and PDH microwave radio links to meet increased capacity associated with WCDMA technology deployment. Project features included hot cutover of major SDH microwave links, equipment inventory and management, equipment bench testing and component sourcing and manufacture.

Project Commonwealth Games Mobile Coverage

Client: Telstra

National Infrastructure Services is involved with the site assessment and design of temporary telecommunication facilities to meet peak network demands during the 2006 Commonwealth Games. The task includes balancing conflicting stakeholder demands while ensuring system performance.

 

Project “3” Transmission Network (Vic / QLD)

Client: Hutchison

Installation of 200+ microwave links over an 18 month period as part of Hutchison “3” network deployment in Victoria and Queensland. In addition to link installation, testing and commissioning National Infrastructure Services placed key telecommunications specialists with the clients project team to assist with seamless and cost effective network deployment.

Project Telstra 2G / 3G (Vic / WA / Qld / SA)

Client Ericsson

Installation and commissioning of a diverse range of Ericsson, macro and microcell equipment for Telstra’s 2G and 3G network equipment, inclusive of base station integration into the network.
